New Kia Telluride | Bangor, ME
The award-winning Kia Telluride has been slightly refreshed for 2023 with an updated design and rugged new trims for off-road adventures. But even at the base trim of this SUV, you’ll get a ton of value thanks to its well-appointed interior and long list of standard safety systems.
For the 2023 model year, the Kia Telluride arrives with a fresh new look. The front features a revised headlamp design as well as a new front fascia and grille. In the back, the taillamps have also been updated to match the front. Other design updates include new wheel designs for every trim and three new exterior colors: Jungle Green, Dawning Red, and Midnight Blue.
Inside the 2023 Kia Telluride is enough room for up to eight people across three rows of seating. But you can also opt for second-row captain’s chairs for a seven-passenger setup. Accessing that back row is simple no matter what, thanks to the one-touch sliding and folding second-row seats.
Everyone will enjoy the ride in the Telluride thanks to standard features like dual-zone automatic climate control, rear passenger climate control, and easy-to-clean SynTex seat trim. But if you want to splurge for a touch of luxury, features like heated and ventilated front/second-row seats, leather seat trim, and a heated steering wheel are all available options.
When you don’t have many people riding along with you in the SUV, the cabin can be adjusted as needed by folding down the second- and third-row seats for a maximum 87 cubic feet of cargo space. You can also utilize the dual-level cargo floor in the back that adds a bit more height in the back for tall items.
One of the most exciting updates for the 2023 Telluride is the addition of the new X-Line and X-Pro models. These rugged versions of the SUV offer a bit more adventure-ready features so you can tackle the toughest trails around Bangor and beyond.
The Telluride X-Line is equipped with raised, bridge-type roof rails; exclusive 20-inch wheels; a higher ground clearance; improved departure and approach angles; a tow mode for enhanced trailering performance; an Upgraded Traction Control System; and unique design elements from front to back.
Similarly, the Telluride X-Pro also has special badging in addition to off-road perks like 18-inch black wheels and all-terrain tires, a 110-volt inverter outlet in the cargo area, and an increased max towing capacity of 5,500 pounds (up from 5,000 pounds).
Exciting tech updates for the 2023 Telluride start with a standard 12.3-inch navigation and infotainment screen (with an available 12.3-inch instrument cluster behind the steering wheel). Advancements via the optional Kia Connect system include an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot, Map and Infotainment Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, and more.
Previously included standard technology on the Telluride that carries over to the 2023 model includes Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, multi-Bluetooth® wireless connectivity, Driver Talk and Quiet Mode, five USB ports across the three rows of seating, and SiriusXM® satellite radio.
One of the things that helped the Telluride win so many awards was its long list of standard driver-assist safety systems. That trend continues into 2023 with amenities that are great for both city driving and highway journeys.
Features like Forward Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance, Park Distance Warning-Rear, and Safe Exit Assist are all quite handy on busy streets with a lot of traffic. When you’ve got a road trip planned, standard systems like Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Highway Driving Assist, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Driver Attention Warning, and Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go will help you along the way.
