New 2023 Kia Soul

The 2023 Kia Soul is available at four trim levels: LX, S, GT-Line, and EX.

Unique Exterior Design

For 2023, the Soul arrives with a pair of new color combinations. You can now paint the Soul in Clear White or Surf Blue with a Fusion Black roof for a two-tone effect.

Other updates for the exterior include an all-new front fascia with a new grille, new Daytime Running Lights, available redesigned fog lights, and available LED headlights. Two new wheel designs are also now available in 17- or 18-inch configurations. The rear fascia has also been refreshed for 2023 as well as the taillights.

When it comes to function, all 2023 Kia Soul models come with roof rack mounting points, power-adjustable side view mirrors, auto headlight control, positioning lights, and heated rear glass with a rear window washer/wiper. However, you can choose to add even more on higher trims with amenities like a sunroof with sunshade, full LED lighting, and heated outside mirrors.

Performance

All new Kia Soul models are equipped with a hearty 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes driving exceptionally fun. The engine is paired with an Intelligent Variable Transmission to offer optimal fuel economy, coming in at up to 29 mpg in the city, 35 mpg on the highway, and 31 mpg combined on the Soul EX model.[1]

In addition to saving you money at the gas pump, the 2023 Soul is simply fun to drive. It comes with a Smart Key with a push-button start so you can get in and go. The peppy performance of the Soul means you’ll be able to reach up to 147 horsepower and get 132 lb-ft of torque. You’ll also be able to tackle a variety of terrain and choose your driving style thanks to the Soul’s Drive Mode Select system.

Family-Friendly Interior

From the outside, the Kia Soul looks smaller than most crossovers. But you’ll find an ample amount of passenger and cargo space within this inimitable Kia model. The Soul has enough room for up to five people and, when the rear 60/40 split-folding seats are down, you’ll have up to 62.1 cubic feet of total cargo space available. That’s much more than competitors like the Nissan Kicks, Ford EcoSport, and Chevy Trax — thanks to the Soul’s tall height and boxy shape. You can also adjust the cargo room with an available dual-level cargo board that changes the flat floor to an undertray area in seconds!

The sporty Soul GT-Line adds more athletic design elements in the interior like a leather-wrapped sport design steering wheel, a leather-wrapped gear shift knob, and adjustable second-row headrests.

Smart Technology

Inside this modern compact SUV is an 8-inch touch-screen display that works seamlessly with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ so you can use your favorite apps on the go. You can also connect your smartphone and other devices via Bluetooth® and a USB data port in the front console.

By choosing the Soul S trim and above, you’re upgrading to a larger 10.25-inch touch-screen display and additional convenient tech features like navigation, SiriusXM® satellite radio, and Kia Connect. The Kia Connect system gives you remote access to the Soul. With this, you can lock or unlock the doors, start the engine, and check on vehicle stats. The Find My Car feature of Kia Connect is also helpful if you’re having trouble remembering where you parked.
