The 2024 Kia Seltos is available at five trim levels: LX, S, X-Line, EX, and SX.

Exterior Design

Kia has elevated the exterior appeal of the Seltos even more for the 2024 model year. The crossover now features a rear light bar that seamlessly connects the taillights, new wheel designs, a restyled grille, and updated lighting elements in the front. The 2024 Seltos X-Line has been outfitted with exclusive features like black roof rails, a Gunmetal grille, Gunmetal skid plates, and 18-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels.

The new Seltos also has many useful exterior features to help you enjoy every drive. When you opt for the Seltos S and above, you’ll have heated side mirrors to assist with winter weather here in Maine. When the temperatures warm up, the available sunroof on the EX and SX trims will let in gorgeous views and fresh air. There’s also the Smart Power Tailgate, available exclusively on the Seltos SX, that automatically opens when you stand behind the SUV with your key fob.

Performance

The 2024 Seltos has two powertrains available. The first is a standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that creates 146 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the vehicle’s Intelligent Variable Transmission, you can expect to reach up to 34 mpg on the highway with this engine.[2]

More power can be had on the Seltos X-Line and Seltos SX. These models have a robust 1.6-liter turbo engine under the hood that generates 195 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. You’ll have an eight-speed automatic transmission working with this engine to get up to 27 mpg on the highway.[2]

Interior Amenities

Inside the 2024 Kia Seltos is room for up to five people. In fact, AWD models offer best-in-class interior room (overall) and second-row legroom. When you fold down the rear seats, you’ll have 62.8 cubic feet of total space available behind the front row. You’ll get to choose how your interior looks as well, as the Seltos offers three new interior colors: Navy, Brown, and the SX-exclusive Midnight Green. Seats can be covered in cloth or SynTex (synthetic leather).

In addition to its roominess, the new Seltos can be filled with a wide range of premium amenities. Available features include remote start that gets the cabin warm or cold before you even get on the go, heated and ventilated front seats, a 10-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Infotainment Technology

To help you stay connected and entertained on the go, the 2024 Seltos comes with incredibly useful infotainment technology. The Seltos S model and higher have a 10.25-inch touch-screen display and a 10.25-inch instrument display behind the steering wheel for over 20 inches of total screen space. That system comes with navigation as well as Kia Connect — giving you remote access to the vehicle from your smart devices.

You’ll find that many new Seltos models also come with things like Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, wireless Bluetooth®, USB-C charging ports, and a wireless phone charger. For the best in audio, the Seltos SX is equipped with an eight-speaker premium Bose® audio system with a sound connected mood lamp that pulses to the beat of your music.
