The 2023 Kia Rio four-door sedan is available at two trim levels: LX and S. The 2023 Kia Rio 5-Door hatchback is available in a single trim: S.

The car’s 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine delivers a lively 120 horsepower and 112 lb-ft of torque. Exterior

Stand out from other drivers with the strong stylings of the Kia Rio. The LX trim comes in three exterior colors: Clear White, Silky Silver, and Aurora Black. But when you opt for the S trim, you’ll have three more options to choose from: Steel Gray, Currant Red, and Sporty Blue. Outside of color choices, the new Rio adds various accents from front to back in black and chrome, depending on trim. Every new Rio, however, comes with useful exterior features like power heated side mirrors, heated rear glass, and auto headlight control.

Interior

Comfort and convenience come standard inside the 2023 Rio. Both body styles seat five people total, with 13.7 cubic feet of rear cargo room in the four-door sedan and 17.4 cubic feet of rear cargo room in the hatchback. The S trim has a rear 60/40 split-folding seat that adds a bit more flexibility for hauling various items. The seats in the Kia Rio are covered in soft woven cloth and are available in black or gray (S trim only). Between both of the trims, you’ll find useful amenities like an illuminated glove box, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, an overhead sunglasses holder, a day/night rearview mirror, automatic climate control, Smart Key with a push-button start, and a sliding armrest with a storage bin.

Technology

You’ll always be connected in the Kia Rio. The standard 8-inch touch-screen display is where you’ll see all of your infotainment details like music and navigation. Every model comes with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, making it seamless to connect your smartphone and use your favorite compatible apps.
